A Little Description About Me.
Xola Mphahlele is to-date a seasoned Human Resources Practitioner with more than twenty-five years of experience in both the private and the public sectors. He is a qualified teacher, and, is a registered skills development facilitator and assessor with
the ETDP SETA.
He kick-started his career as a high school teacher in a rural community in Limpopo in 1984, and worked his way to the RSA private and public sector worlds of work. Given his passion for people growth and development
for optimum performance, he established his corporate career as a Human Resources Practitioner and/or HR Business Partner and has been involved in a number of corporate change and/or transformation initiatives as HR Manager.
Xola worked for organizations such as, inter alia; First National Bank, Spoornet (a division of Transnet), State Information Technology Agency, Talentline Consulting Group and Nestle SA. He worked in many key areas of Human Resources Management – i.e.
Strategic HR Planning, Recruitment and selection (Talent Search), HR Administration & Operations, Organizational Development and Change Management, Industrial and Employee Relations, Employee Wellness and Compensation and benefits
as an HR Business Partner to both middle and senior/executive management.
He currently facilitates a host of workshops in various customer environments in the Southern African Region, workshops such as HR for Non-HR Managers, Managing Diversity and Inclusion, Conflict resolution, Change
Leadership, Coaching as a management skill, Workplace Mentoring, Building Self-esteem and assertiveness training, Stress Management, Personal Resiliency Training, Performance Management and Developing High Performance Teams
workshops.
As a skills development facilitator, Xola has served clients such as M-net (A Division of Multi-Choice), Sun City Resorts, Arcelor Mittal, Transnet, Cadbury SA, Hewlett Packard SA, INSETA, Nestle SA, SA Taxi Council, Alexander Forbes, Exxaro, Russell
Minerals Equipment, Sandvik.
He is particularly passionate about change leadership/ organizational transformation and seeks to make a positive contribution in societal transformation. He is actively involved in the leadership of community/society
based organizations such as the Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch, Mphahlele Tseke-Ntoshang Foundation and the Diepkloof Community Trust Fund.
